Bees Knees Launch Event Video 2018!

For 15 years the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Bee’s Knees Awards 2018 have been celebrating and rewarding local businesses and this year’s awards offered something extra special! For the 2018 award’s ceremony, a number of new categories were introduced and new sponsors have joined the team.

As the proud media sponsors for the awards, Gryffe Studios are looking forward to playing an important role in this year’s awards.

This year’s Bee’s Knees Awards launch event was held at the Waterfront Cinema Greenock on Thursday 25 January 2018 and the cinema was the perfect venue! I mean what better place is there to show off last year’s videos?

And of course, sandwiches courtesy of The Chartroom at Kip Marina and scrumptious popcorn, and soft drinks were served to make the event complete!

The launch event, which ran from noon till 2 PM, welcomed representatives from last year’s winning businesses, sponsors, and the Inverclyde Chamber board members. They all had vital networking time before settling into the cinema screen.

Chamber Board members Gavin and Anne, who took to the stage to introduce the awards. We also heard from David Shaw, from Waterfront Cinema who shared his experiences of being both a previous winner and sponsor of the awards

The launch event was the perfect opportunity to show off our ideas for a refresh of the branding ideas for this year’s awards to ensure nothing is repeated and that each award’s ceremony as its own character and modern feel.

The business awards shine a spotlight on and celebrates local business talent and it’s a valuable networking event. And now thanks to the introduction of new awards categories even more businesses can be celebrated for their hard work!  The new categories have opened the doors to businesses of any size or trade and we are looking forward to meeting them as the judging progresses over the next few months.

Our hard-work will continue as we will create a promotional video for each of the finalists and provide all the motion graphics on the big screen on the evening of the awards, which will take place at The Chartroom at Kip Marina on the 8^th of June 2018
